Is nativeKONTROL software compatible with Mac?Unfortunately, nativeKONTROL software is not currently Mac compatible. This is something we plan on adding in the future though. Please check the site regularly for updates on this.

I don’t have MIDI Yoke NT 1.75, where can I get it?You can download MIDI Yoke NT 1.75 for FREE from the following link:
MIDI YokeI don’t have an option for “padKONTROL 1 PORT A” or “padKONTROL 1 CTRL”. What do I do? You need to reinstall the padKONTROL’s driver as described in the padKONTROL’s manual on page 8 “Installing the MIDI driver and software”. Once you’ve done that, re-run the installer for the nativeKONTROL software you purchased.

What versions of Live is nativeKONTROL Live compatible with?
nativeKONTROL Live was designed and tested with Live 6 and 7. Some of the features may work with earlier versions, but we offer no guarantees on that.
I need more than 2 tracks, can I add more tracks to the template?
Yes, that’s completely fine. After you’ve added the tracks, go into Options-Preferences, click on the File Folder tab and click the option to “Save Current Set as Template”.
I need more than 19 scenes, can I add more scenes to the template?
Yes, that’s completely fine. After you’ve added the scenes, go into Options-Preferences, click on the File Folder tab and click the option to “Save Current Set as Template”.
I don’t need 19 scenes in my template, can I get rid of some of the scenes?
Yes, that’s completely fine. After you’ve deleted the scenes, go into Options-Preferences, click on the File Folder tab and click the option to “Save Current Set as Template”.
I have another controller I use for Instant Mapping in Live. Can I use this controller for Instant Mapping instead of the padKONTROL?
Yes, that’s completely fine. You could also use both the padKONTROL and your other controller for Instant Mapping simultaneously.
nativeKONTROL Live has so many controls, how am I supposed to remember them all?
We’d suggest you get comfortable with a few controls at a time. We’ve also provided an onscreen map of the controls, which you can bring up at any time during your Live session.
When I load a project that I created prior to installing nativeKONTROL Live, some of the controls don’t work. Why is that?
Most of nativeKONTROL Live’s controls are not mapped within the template, so they will work fine with projects created prior to installing nativeKONTROL Live. However, some controls (Global Quantize, Global Groove, Metronome and Overdub for example) are mapped within the template, so they will not work properly with projects created prior to installing nativeKONTROL Live. nativeKONTROL Reason

What software is nativeKONTROL Custom compatible with?
nativeKONTROL Custom is compatible with any software that can be controlled via standard MIDI CCs.
All the buttons in nativeKONTROL Custom are toggles, but I need momentary buttons. Is there a way to change this?
Not on the user’s end unfortunately, but nativeKONTROL Custom can be customized to your exact specifications. Any button can be turned into a momentary button, the MIDI messages for each control can be customized and the buttons can even be set up to send key commands if you like.
